10:30am - Best Senior

Any dog over 7 years old is eligible to compete in this event. The judge will assess each senior dog on their health, mobility, behavior, and appearance. We also encourage handlers to share any interesting or fun stories you have that may help with a tie-breaker scenario.

11:00 am: Dog Races - WIN FUN PRIZES

11:00am -Best Trick

Any dog is welcome to compete in this competition. The judge will assess each trick based on proper execution, trick type, how funny/impressive the trick is and their ability to repeat the trick. If your dog can do multiple tricks, it’s probably best to select the top three to showcase during the event.

11:15 am: Dog Races - WIN FUN PRIZES

11:30 am - Best Puppy

Any dog younger than 1 year old is eligible to compete in this event. The judge will assess each puppy on their health, obedience, behavior, and appearance. We also encourage handlers to share any interesting or fun stories you have that may help with a tie-breaker scenario.

12:00 pm - Best Rescue Dog OVER 30 pounds

Any rescue dog 30lbs or more is welcome to compete in this competition. We are not limiting this competition to dogs from shelters and rescue organizations. If anyone has ‘rescued’ a dog from a bad situation they are eligible to compete. In this competition, we are looking for the best rescue story, which we understand is quite subjective. It will be up to the judge to assess which dog has the most heartwarming story and has shown resilience and inspiration.

Mission
Carol Stream Animal Hospital (CSAH) has a longstanding commitment to improving the well- being of animals and people in the Carol Stream community and the greater Chicago area. The Annual CSAH Charity Dog Show is a fun community event to help celebrate our furry friends. The event provides an amazing experience for dog owners to learn about different industries that can help their pets in a variety of ways. Our clinic invites all members of the community to support the Charity Dog Show by participating in an event, making a charitable donation, or simply attending. Prizes will be awarded for a variety of categories, including best trick, best costume, best senior dog and more. The number of pet owners unable to afford veterinary care for their animal companions grows every day. Many pet owners make the difficult choice to forgo veterinary care because they cannot afford the cost of care. Sensitive to the needs of pets and their owners, concerned and compassionate veterinary professionals are constantly searching for new ways to provide
charitable veterinary services. The VetBros Pet Education Charitable Fund helps pet owners get the veterinary services they need to keep their furry friends healthy and happy. Helping members of the community care for their pets improves the overall quality of life in the community.
